I booked this hotel for a quick getaway my husband and I planned, and I couldn’t be happier. Room was clean and updated, staff were helpful, and location was great. I would definitely recommend and would stay again!

I just want to say that the staff was AMAZING from the time we checked in until the day of check out! Super helpful and professional. Bridget the front desk rep was fabulous. She gave us restaurant and night life recommendations and they were on point! The front desk manager was just as awesome. The bell person service was great as well. Overall I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Location was also prime.

II has the most convenient location near Grand Central and Bryant Park. Staff at check in and check out in the front desk were kinda indifferent to us. Not very engaging or nice like other hotels we’ve been in the City. Rooms are very pretty but they have to pay more attention to small details like scratches on the walls. TV didn’t quite get the cable signal most of the time we try to watch it. Elevator is old, noisy and kinda jumpy. We even found a room service cart fill with lots of dirty dishes and cups traveling all the way up and down with no one from the staff. The hotel charge around 50 per night for the mini bar eve if you don’t drink or eat anything from it. It’s an old building so higher floors tend to make weird noises coming from floors and walls. We do liked the room furniture, the AC, the amenities and the design in general.

Staff was very friendly and assisted with bags from arrival to departure. It was nice to see familiar faces everytime we came through the door.
The room was a great size and depicted well in the photos. The room lighting wasn’t the best and only mirrors were in th closet and in the bathroom. Not much counter space to put items in while getting ready. Air conditioning was perfect to bear the very hot and humid weather outside in July.
Upon laying down in bed after a long flight and paying $60 for early check in there were medium length straight black hairs on the sheets which did not come from me (I have long red hair) and my spouse has curly hair. We took these pieces off and disregarded but found another under a pillow.
Besides that the over cleanness of the hotel was great. Refreshing drinks as you walk in. Near by everything and a block from Geand Central making it easy to transport to the Mets game, Yankee stadium, Brooklyn and more

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The front desk and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Our room was clean and well kept, no complaints at all. Any time we called down for a request, whether to the front desk or housekeeping, they were quick to respond and always accommodating.
The location was another huge plus, just a short walk to Grand Central Station, which made getting around the city so easy.
Overall, a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!

Fantastisch did not get requested information from concierage prior to our arrival - we called twice and talked to concierage and was told we would get emails. Was not greeted in evening when we walked inside lobby - the front desk people did not even look up.
