Unterdurchschnittlich Hi,
The building has been renovated and is comfortable. However, I noticed that the staircase leading to the second floor was quite dirty.
When I entered the apartment, there was dust everywhere, especially on the pictures and the lamps. I opened the dishwasher and it smelled bad and was dirty. The kitchen sink was leaking underneath. I also opened the oven, and it was dirty and clearly needed to be sanitized. The toilet seat lid needs to be repaired, and the blanket stored in the closet had yellow stains and did not appear to be clean.
The location and overall convenience of the apartment are excellent, but unfortunately the cleanliness was extremely poor.

The location was excellent. Right off the Gran Via with good walking distance to various points of interest. The apartment was very well maintained and welcoming.

Pedro was very kind and helpful when we arrived. It was easy to get to local trains and busses. Close to grocery stores. Easy to get to downtown Madrid.

Perfect staying place, smells clean and it was clean, well decorated and furnished, communication w management was a breeze, in-house staff were friendly, even after hours texted and got answers.
That will be my choice when returning to Spain, and that was my second time already.

Apartment was well equipped. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable, and took up most of the available space.
Breakfast was pretty much non-existent. Stale croissants and about 10 cornflakes! Some juice, milk, tea and coffee though.
Area around the property isn't the best, but fairly quiet. Only a short walk to a metro station, which got you into the centre very quick. Probably around 25/30 mins from leaving the apartment and we were in the city centre.
Would stay again - but change my expectations of breakfast!
