Amazing experience for our group at the Riu. We had multiple rooms and the hotel was very accommodating to put us together. The property was incredibly clean and the buffet was very tasty.

Room was clean, breakfast was easy and delicious, and staff was wonderful! Highly recommended!

Could not ask for a better location--walking distance to so many attractions. Hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very nice. Buffet breakfast was excellent, and there is a lovely rooftop bar, but no restaurant or room service (but you can order certain foods and pick them up--we did not partake, so can't comment). We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would not hesitate to stay there again.

The rooms and grounds were very clean. This hotel is perfectly located to restaurants and shopping. There were a few mishaps with the elevators while we stayed but the staff handled it right away. The buffet breakfast was good as I expect from a RIU. I think the only negative I can say is there are no microwaves in the rooms or a central location. With that being a food city it would be more convenient.

The hotel, our room, and all the staff were stellar. The breakfast buffet was substantial and the rooftop bar (with crazy glass balcony!) was beautiful. My only negative comment has to do with the toilet. The modern design creates such a dirty bowl that they even put a toilet brush next to it. Weird.

The staff was really nice. The rooms were really clean or nice. Everybody was so friendly and the breakfast was awesome.

Very clean rooms, comfortable bed. The staff was beyond excellent. They were very accommodating, helpful and worked with us when everyone’s arrival time changed. They allowed us to check in early and check in late. We reserved three separate rooms and all of them were excellent. Breakfast was good with a wide range of food options. We had a party of six and everyone was extremely happy. Location was perfect. Walking to all the usual spots, walking to Michigan Ave was just around the corner, an easy walk to catch the train to Wrigley. Overall extremely enjoyable and will stay again, next time in town

RIU was located right near Michigan Ave. and a great location to walk to local attractions such as the Riverwalk or Navy Pier and Magnificant Mile.

The room on the 23rd floor was pretty cool. I had a nice view of the downtown area. The hotel itself was located within walking distance of the Chicago river and several places to eat. I did enjoy a beverage at both the rooftop bar and the lobby bar.
