The room was good. It was clean and I loved the location of the room, which was walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and downtown areas. The WiFi was terrible, however, especially for someone who relies heavily on it to communicate. The television barely worked due to the WiFi being spotty. Also, just to inform future travelers, Iceland restrooms tend to emit sulfuric aromas due to the underground volcanic activity. My room was heavy on the sulfur scent, especially in the shower area. The room is great for solo travelers or couples with limited luggage, as it was the size of a dorm room. Elena was very serviceable during my booking experience. I enjoyed my stay, overall.

Great location with easy walking to most of city center. Parking is NOT included as misstated on Expedia site. However paid street parking is available and reasonably priced. The apartment was a bit worn but very comfortable. The television did not work at all and one of the window shades did not work. Otherwise, the place was great.

I did not realize when I booked that this was a self check in hostel. I never saw any one from the residence. While it was clean with coffee pods and coffee maker, the shower constantly dripped after I turned it off. There was also a musty, sulphery smell in the shower probably from the drip. This is characteristic of water in volcanic country. I had to punch in codes to get into the building, walk up 2 flights of stairs, no elevator, with 2 pieces of luggage. Once I got to my room, I had to punch in 4 more numbers into the door plate and it took me 4-5 tries with the unit screeching at me that I was intruding. The price was what attracted me to this residence, but if there is a next time, I will stay at a full service hotel. At least it was clean and the bed comfortable. I contacted the “person in charge” and she advised that there will be renovations coming up. I had to email her to get a cab to the airport which she did and was quick to respond at least.

We stayed a night. In the middle of the night someone came into our room. We were all asleep, we had mold in the shower and anytime someone showered it smelled terrible. It would be good to have fans bc of how hot it was

This was a self-check in stay. When we entered the lobby from the street, it smelled like people had been smoking in the lobby all day and the smell did not fade the whole time we were there. We got into our room and it smelled like bad body odor. There was a frumpy foam couch that probably held most of the smell. The room had 1 tiny window that opened out about 2 inches and the temperature of the room was 75 degrees F. There was no air circulation and no fan available. We discovered that there must be hot water pipes running directly under the room as the floor next to the bed read 88 degrees F on our phone temp app. I reported the temperature issue right away and the responses were prompt and they said they would get back to me shortly. They never did. The people upstairs are also up all night with lots of foot traffic noise. Next morning I had to ask again about the temperature (I didn't even address the smell, itchy flannel sheets, or dripping showerhead/mold). The responses on the Expedia app were always prompt, but never solved any of our issues. I asked if we could get a refund for the 2nd night so that we could go somewhere else for a good night's sleep. They have "escalated it to management" for a week now and I guarantee I will never hear back from anyone unless I keep up the request. We did not stay a second night and I would not recommend this place to anyone until they can address the smells and the lack of temperature control in the unit.

Basic, relatively clean. Reasonable price & good enough for a 1 night stay. Location was not in the city center, but good enough.

Onsite parking was in Expedia’s description, but only city street parking that you pay for is available. Had to street park 4 blocks away and drag suitcases all that way. Contacted them and they said it was not misleading to have description as ‘onsite parking’. Quite rude.

It is a really small studio with bed, bathroom and coffee all in a small studio room. It turned out to be a horrible experience because of the bad gas escaping from The bathroom drain. No exhaust or ventilation.

Convenient location to Hallgrimskirkja, shopping area and restaurants. Room is small, but clean with private bathroom. Checkin info provided in advance, no problem at all. P2 Street parking available, I dont have issue to find A spot close by. 9pm to 9am is free though. Didn't use kitchen. I didn't see one. But I didn't try to find it intentionally, so not sure it has one or not. Recommend.
