It wa great experience to visit Abu Simbel. It’s very long drive but really worth it!!!

I'm generally satisfied, but I was confused when I was contacted the evening before and told that the hotel pick-up would be at 3:30 AM. I know that most Abu Simbel tours depart at 3:00 AM, but I specifically wanted a later departure and applied for this tour. After several emails, I accepted the conclusion that it was due to the location of my hotel, and I waited in the hotel lobby for the 3:30 AM pick-up on the day. However, they didn't show up. When I called the local tour company, they just said, "Car is on the way." Finally, they arrived 30 minutes late. It's unacceptable that they told me the earlier time of 3:30 AM and then were late. Also, I think the detailed explanation of the tour content is unclear when applying. In reality, it was Pick-up → assemble at the tour departure point → be assigned to a pre-determined car number in one of several vans, and then finally depart at 5:00 AM. This flow is not unusual, but I would like it to be properly described in the application information. (I mistakenly thought that Pick-up = Departure = 5:00 AM.) Furthermore, regarding the guide, I wonder what the point is of having two people, one to escort me to the ticket counter after arriving locally, and the other to take me to the temple after entering (I only had the outside guide). I only have questions about this division of labor. In short, the inside of the temple is a guide-free free-for-all. I wasn't unhappy with the free-for-all, but I don't think it's kind not to inform people in advance. Because of this experience, I originally wanted to give a perfect score, but I dared to give it a 4. The driver on this course was safe, considerate, and helpful, and the other passengers were kind and friendly. On the way back, we clapped and sang along to the music playing in the car, and then various topics spontaneously came up and we got excited. Even though I only understood rusty English, I was part of the laughter and had a lot of fun. So, if asked if I would recommend it to others, I would definitely say Yes!

The guide was super helpful and made sure everything has gone right and safe! The night show was an unique and wonderful experience to visit the temple. And the driver was polite and helpful too!

Der Reiseleiter ist sehr professionell und freundlich. Er hat uns viele historische Informationen über den Tempel und das Dorf gegeben. Außerdem hat er sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Ich kann diese Tour jedem empfehlen, der nach Assuan reisen möchte.

Die Erklärungen der Reiseleiterin Nana waren in Ordnung. Sie konnte den Touristen viel Wissen über die verschiedenen Artefakte in den Sehenswürdigkeiten vermitteln, aber ihre Sprechweise war etwas holprig. Der Fahrer verirrte sich unterwegs für etwa eine halbe Stunde. Der Abzug eines Sterns erfolgt, weil die Bootsfahrt zum Philopapposdenkmal die Touristen zusätzlich 10 US-Dollar kostet. Diese zusätzlichen Kosten wurden auf der Kaufseite nicht im Voraus erwähnt, was nicht ganz in Ordnung ist.

Kapitän Hamo Nemary war absolut unglaublich. Er hat mir vom ersten Moment an, als ich an Bord kam, das Gefühl gegeben, zu Hause zu sein, und er erzählte faszinierende Geschichten über Elephantine Island und die nubische Kultur. Seine herzliche Persönlichkeit und sein tiefes Wissen haben die Reise zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Ich kann ihn jedem empfehlen, der nach einem authentischen und unvergesslichen Erlebnis sucht!

Ich mochte meine Tour, ich habe meine Tour genossen. Vielen Dank an meinen Reiseleiter, den Archäologen. Es war fantastisch. Ich empfehle ihn jedem.

Ich war so dankbar, dass sich der Guide so viel Mühe gegeben hat, mir alles zu erklären, obwohl ich kaum Englisch spreche. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und bin wirklich dankbar dafür. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn ich das nächste Mal mit einem Freund wiederkommen und diese Erfahrung noch einmal machen könnte.

Schöne Erfahrung auf dem Nil, mit jeden Tag einem anderen Reiseleiter. Tickets und Trinkgelder sind nicht inbegriffen, also stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie Bargeld mitnehmen und eine Karte bereithalten. Keine Heißluftballonfahrt - wegen des Wetters abgesagt, versuche, das Geld zurückzubekommen.
