Get ready to be picked up at 01.00 AM by our driver and professional guide who will take you to Sukapura (Bromo area in Probolinggo). After departing from Probolinggo area, you will reach the destination in approximately 1 hour. Then, we will continue the trip by Jeep (4 WD) to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 45 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mount in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom history. Next, you can enjoy the breakfast at restaurant. After finishing breakfast, the guide will lead you to next destination that is Madakaripura Waterfall. There, you will find a natural 200m height waterfall with many spots relaxing your eyesight and return to Probolinggo.

Die Reise war sehr gut, man muss sich zwar im Klaren darüber sein, dass es eine Nacht ohne Schlaf und Kälte sein wird, aber bei der Aussicht lohnt es sich. Ich habe einen unvergesslichen Tag meines Lebens verbracht, zumindest bisher, vielleicht aber auch noch in vielen Jahren. Wir hatten das Glück, in der Monsunzeit einen guten Tag ohne Regen oder Nebel zu finden. Wir haben auch einen Führer namens ONI, er ist ein sehr guter, charmanter und professioneller Typ, er hat uns den besten Ort in Bromo zum Fotografieren gezeigt und ist TOP1 in Bromo. Und es hat uns auch sehr geholfen. Auch der andere Teil der Reise, die Wasserfallfahrt, war fantastisch. Man muss viel laufen, aber nur sehr wenige Leute und man macht ein cooles Foto. Empfehlenswert!
