Elephant Trunk Hill is a famous tourist attraction in Guilin and for good reason: it looks just like an elephant drinking out of the water! This attraction has been renowned since the Tang Dynasty, and attracts tourists from all over the world. Lush foliage surrounds this area, and within it, ancient buildings are nestled. Get the chance to see the Puxian Pagoda situated atop the hill, 14-meters high and built during the Ming Dynasty. You can also stop at the Yunfeng Temple, one of the key cultural relics in the area, built in 1214, and see the Sarira Dagoba, another famed Buddhist construction within Elephant Trunk Hill Park.
