Das Jihangir Research Center liegt unweit des Taksim-Platzes. Als ich über Klook reserviert hatte, konnte ich den Test bequem entgegennehmen und das Ergebnis per E-Mail erhalten und über das Hotel ausdrucken!

I made a booking for 6 people to get the rapid Covid tests done so that we could fly back to the US the next day. When we arrived, everything went well and the tests were quick. They made photocopies of our passports, so we were confident that our information should be entered correctly on our test results. This was not the case. When results came in, two people had their names spelled wrong, which made us a little nervous but we were pretty sure they’d still be accepted at the airport because the rest of the info was accurate. The real problem was that in order to get your result, you have to put your passport number into the website they give you. This worked for 5 of us, but they put the wrong passport number in for one of our men, so every time he tried to see if his results were in, he got nothing. We were told results would be in by 10pm at the latest, but since the lab closes at 9pm we wanted to get ahold of them just in case something was wrong, since the rest of our group had received their results hours ago. We were growing concerned since our flight was leaving at 5am the next morning and we needed the result to be allowed on the flight. I called the lab around 8pm and called 7 times before I finally got an answer, but the person told me they don’t speak English and that I had to text their Whatsapp number, which I had done 45 minutes prior and not yet received a response. Finally, about an hour after texting them, they did respond just before their closing time and after about 20 minutes, they corrected the passport number so we were able to access the result. The experience of getting the tests was fine, but just hope that they get your passport numbers entered correctly or you won’t be able to access your results, which can be extremely nerve-wracking if your flight leaves before the lab opens the next day!
