Sanxingdui-Museum

Not to be missed if you are in Chengdu. The relics are of great archeological significance. It was crowded on Saturday morning, but still able to view the relics fairly comfortably. The relics were stunning.

A great museum, like most things it gets busy so go early. Hire an audio guide to get the most of it. We got to the museum from a Chinese tourist shuttle bus service with QR code payment, pickup from the Panda at Chengdu IFS.

Entry to the museum was very convenient. We simply used our travel documents for verification and did not need to collect or print any physical tickets. Ein fantastisches Erlebnis im Sanxingdui Museum – einzigartige antike Artefakte, besonders die beeindruckenden Bronzemasken. Ein Muss für Geschichtsliebhaber!

Uns wurde gesagt, dass Museumstickets schwer zu bekommen seien, aber wir konnten sie am Vortag auf Klook kaufen – sehr praktisch. Das Museum selbst ist ausgezeichnet und sehr gut kuratiert. Es ist eine Stunde mit dem Taxi von Chengdu entfernt, aber es lohnt sich.
