See famous people from Thailand and abroad come to life at the Thai Human Imagery Museum, a recently renovated wax museum located fifty kilometers outside Bangkok. Because of the country’s tropical climate, the sculptures in the museum are made out of fiberglass instead of traditional wax, whilst keeping the exhibits looking just as realistic. A visit to the museum is the perfect way to learn more about Thailand’s rich history and the personalities that represent it. Visit the section dedicated to King Chulalongkorn, Rama V the Great, who oversaw the abolishment of slavery in the country or the area illustrating the games played by school kids over a century ago. Filled with interesting stories, Bangkok’s Human Imagery Museum is a joy to explore.
