Discover the world of Maurits C. Escher at the permanent exhibition of his works in The Hague, housed in a former royal palace! It's difficult to find an artist whose fans include a community of mathematicians — but such is the case with M.C. Escher. He is known worldwide for his graphic art, which links eternity with infinity. Escher's oeuvre is inspired by ancient Moorish art, and also by the great British mathematicians Lionel and Roger Penrose. With an admission ticket from Klook, enter the museum to admire the 150+ masterpieces, including an image of a waterfall flowing upstream, one of a never-ending staircase called 'Ascending and Descending’, or a woodcut of a yin and yang version of a Dutch landscape. End your visit at the interactive exhibition zone, which lets you experience solving some of the artist's puzzles!
