Harbin Snow Town Privater Autocharter 2-Tages-Tour

We booked this private car to XueXiang Snowtown for a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately, the driver turned it into a terrifying experience. Our safety was compromised. Avoid! 1. He dictated our schedule (dont want drive us directly to Xuexiang) then insist we check out at 8Am!) and forced us to eat at his chosen restaurant! paid for his ticket to Xuexiang. 2. He pressured us to visit unplanned attractions. When we refused, he told us he already purchased tickets and will had cancellation fee. 3. This was the worst part. Angry that we didn't comply, he got behind the wheel and drove recklessly on traffic mountain roads. He drove against the flow of traffic, putting all our lives in immediate danger. This was deliberate, aggressive, and utterly unacceptable. This was beyond poor service-it was a severe safety failure. The driver showed himself to be manipulative and ultimately, dangerous. At the end I don't want to ride his car anymore, I rent another car back to Harbin the next day!

We were repeatedly taken to vendors selected by the driver, with no clear disclosure of prices upfront. Eg, we were directed to a ski rental charging over S$80/pax for an “influencer outfit,” which offered little value. At the ski resort, instructors were already waiting, equip was prepared immediately, and everything moved quickly. Once the session ended, the gear was collected immediately. We were also charged S$90/pax by the instructor described as a commission fee. When questioned, the driver said we should have asked earlier, even though prices were never clearly communicated. The coordination between the driver and instructors seemed planned. At the end of the trip, the driver subtly pressured us for tips, claiming a free car upgrade that was identical to the vehicle shown here while emphasizing that he delivered us back safely. Exercise caution with this package. Research prices carefully and consider booking activities independently to avoid unexpected costs.

To start with, the driver keep proposing us to go to places that we did not want to go. as a private driver I expect him to follow our itinerary and not the reverse. I was already thinking that he might be trying to scam us, and it turns to be right… he even smoke in the car without asking permission, although when i asked he follows. we spent 12 hrs on the road due to the highway is closed (not his fault) and arrived very late to snowtown. he insisted on following us to snowtown, and we needed to buy him tickets. He followed us to our hotel, where the concierge of the hotel then told us to be careful with the driver !… He tried to convince us multiple times to leave snowtown early in the morning, and refused to listen for a while although we had previously arrived at 8 pm at the hotel and hadn’t been able to do anything. also he even said he alr reserved the activities and couldnt cancel them, although I never ask him to do it. thoughout the trip, he keeps voice chatting.

the driver scammed us, he help us to buy the acitivity like the snowmobile, entrance of snowtown and horse sleidge but he make a lot of profit from our ticket, total for 4 person and 1 day 6,100 yuan! we have no choice, and pay it. be careful, always ask the price first for all activity!
