This day tour takes you up the sacred mountain Mount Emei, which is one of the biggest destinations for cultural and religious enlightenment in the area outside of Chengdu. Upon arrival at the mountain, you’ll be able to take some lunch before you proceed to explore some of its famous sites. Wannian Temple has a scenic area that you’ll be able to explore. Walk through the paths and grounds and breathe in the serenity that the area possesses. From the bright open grounds, you will go underground when you visit the Bailong Cave Temple. Amidst all the stalactites and the crevices, the temple sits under a low rock ceiling as its figures of Buddha sit resolutely in the dim glow. This trip is then followed by a trip to Qinying Pavilion, which is nestled deep in the woods. It stands elevated above a bubbling stream, with a stone bridge nearby, and has the appearance of that picture-perfect fantasy setting. Make sure you get lovely photos here before you descend the mountain and head back to Chengdu.

Dies ist eine schlecht geplante Tour. Für eine teure Tour haben sie die Hauptverkehrszeit an den Ticketschaltern nicht erwartet. Sie sagen von Anfang an, dass wir es nicht bis zur Spitze schaffen werden, was die Hauptattraktion ist. In jeder Phase entmutigen sie uns, nicht durchzukommen. Wenn sie das gewusst hätten, hätten sie die Tour früher um 5 Uhr und nicht um 7:30 Uhr beginnen sollen. Wir konnten nicht einmal mit der Seilbahn fahren. Um ihren Kunden gegenüber fair zu sein, die am Ende nicht das volle Paket bekommen haben, sollten sie zumindest einen Teil der Gebühr zurückerstatten. Das Problem wird noch verschärft, da sie einen Teil der Tour von neulich (die wetterbedingt abgesagt wurde) in diese Tour eingefügt haben, was zu Zeitmangel für alles führt. Wir halten dies für eine Farce und sollten zumindest besser geplant werden.
