Private one-day tour from Xiamen to Quanzhou Qingyuan Mountain, Kaiyuan Temple, West Street and Overseas Transportation History Museum

In the morning, we will depart from downtown Xiamen to Quanzhou. First, we will go to Qingyuan Mountain, which is a natural and cultural dual heritage site in China. It has rich natural landscapes and historical and cultural relics, and integrates historical culture such as stone carvings, religion, and architecture with natural landscapes of mountains and forests. Among them, Laojun Rock Carving has the largest Taoist stone statue in the country, and the Hongyi Master Relic Pagoda is an important place to visit the footprints of Master Hongyi, adding a profound cultural heritage to this holy land. Then we will go to Kaiyuan Temple, which is the largest Buddhist temple in Fujian Province. It has a long history and magnificent architecture. It has important buildings such as the Great Hall and the Sutra Pavilion, as well as iconic landscapes such as the Zhenguo Tower and the Renshou Tower. Here, you can feel the solemnity and mystery of Buddhist culture. Then, we will go to West Street, a very representative historical and cultural district in Quanzhou, which retains a large number of ancient buildings and traditional culture. Walking on the bluestone road, you will feel the strong southern Fujian style, with quaint shops and houses on both sides, and the air is filled with a faint fragrance of tea and the sweetness of cakes. You can choose to taste local snacks freely. (At your own expense) In the afternoon, go to the Quanzhou Overseas Transportation History Museum, which is a museum dedicated to the history of ancient maritime transportation. It has rich collections, including ancient religious stone carvings, Song Dynasty ships in Quanzhou Bay, etc. It is a good place to learn about the history of Quanzhou’s Maritime Silk Road. After the trip is successfully completed, the special car will take you back to Xiamen city safely.
