The room is very close to the Inverness train station. Very good for transiting through. I stayed over night so it was functional for me. There was a shower but towels did not seem fresh. Bed is not comfortable so if you stay for more than one night it might not work well for you.

To be fair in this review: If the vendor who runs the property had actually addressed the issue I probably would have overlooked most of the things I'll share. But since they refused to communicate regarding the issue and, even when showed the video evidence by Expedia, lied and refused to acknowledge the issue I'm going to be brutally honest. We chose this place because the price was decent and it was close to where we needed to be at a very early hour. The location is close to the Victorian Market and the train station. We are used to the issues of staying downtown so want a secure place. The front door lock of the place was non-existent so the front door code was useless. There is no deadbolt on the individual room and no other way to secure the space. Anyone can walk in at any time. They did not answer emails or calls by Expedia. There is some minor mold issues in the shower and the edges of the bathroom molding. No one cleans under the bed as I found when something slipped underneath. The single bed has the squeakiest mattress ever. Hope no one needs to move on it. We got an almost empty roll of toilet paper and one spare - for two days and three people. Since they wouldn't reply to a safety issue we figured we'd get no response for how to get more. If you want a responsive and safe property skip this one. I have video of all these issues too but reviews here won't add them.

Great location, decent price, first floor does not mean ground level. There is a substantial staircase, but doable. The best shower we’ve had our whole vacation. Water pressure and temperature was outstanding. Could use better pillows, but acceptable.

We stayed in room 6. While the check-in process was pretty straightforward because it was all self-service, the room is very small. It was definitely clean, however we assumed that a four day stay would afford us some sort of cleaning or at least replacement of toilet paper and towels. However, we ran out of toilet paper after the second day of our stay. We messaged the staff a couple times to ask for a replacement, but we got no replies. We asked a neighbor if we could use some of theirs, but they said they were also out. We also ran into another person staying at the hotel who said he had reached out to the staff several times without a broken window and heard nothing. Location was convenient, but there were no amenities whatsoever. No kettle, no coffee, no tea, the television didn't work, and there was no soap in the shower.

Steep stair walk up. Clear instructions provided by the contact, noone on site. Blinds in the room were broken could not close them. Bed and bathroom only, close to the train station.

The room was clean but as bare-bones as it gets. There were some mould issues in the bathroom and the shower flooded within the first couple minutes of my shower, causing me to have to use 2 of the 3 provided towels to sop up the water. There wasn’t even so much as a kettle in the room, and only a tiny garbage can in the bathroom. The beds were very uncomfortable. And the noise from the street was quite excessive. The room was fine for this weekend but I feel it was very overpriced for what you actually receive.

Great room for the price, easy walking to train, bus and nightlife. Private bathroom
