What we liked: the view from the room was amazing! The staff was very attentive and friendly. We would recommend staying here.
Here’s what we didn’t like:
1. Road- inbetween the hotel and the beach is a very busy and loud road which made it difficult to relax at.
2. Breakfast- the food is good, but clearly not made for those with western tastes. Compared to other similarly priced hotels, we found the food options less at this hotel.
3. Lack of facilities- no spa at the hotel or surroundings, no offers for sight seeing, very few activities (e.g. the aquarium in the area appears to be permanently “temporarily closed”.)
Is this a nice hotel? Yes! Would we recommend spending more than just a day or two? No.

Fantastisk This a a lovely hotel. Very quiet and right a cross the road from a sandy beach. The pool is outstanding.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. There are a couple of things to keep in mind, it might not be your thing.
The area around it has lots of small seafood restaurants on the beach. These are open cooking with fresh seafood. We absolutely loved the variety and the food. Some westerners might find it too much different that standard dining. You are in Thailand on the beach! We loved it.
Some Westerners might find the breakfast a litte too Thai. They do have fresh eggs served and cooked to order, cereal, yogurt and a lot of delicious soups and Thai food that you should try.
Across from the hotel is a nice beach and walking at night is great to see all of the different dining options. As a Westerner, I would highly recommend this hotel and you should spring for the superior beach view room, it was incredible. They also have a good pool and decent gym. The people in this hotel were very nice, always smiling and working to accommodate every need.

There was a lot of hair scattered in the washroom, and the cleaning was not thorough.
Also, the room service ended too early, so I couldn’t use it.
