We stayed at Stanford hotel in Myeongdong in June 2026 for 6 nights. The location is right of the center of Myeongdong, couple blocks walking to night market. A limousine bus station ia block away from the hotel that where limousine bus from and to Incheon airport, very convenient. The Lotte department store is also across from the from from Stanford hotel. Hotel is kept very clean in lobby (9th floor), and the room hallways. The vacuum robots going around to keep the carpet floors fresh and clean. Room is spacious, clean. There are 3 washer machines and 3 dryers with large capacity in 10th floor. Very convenient. We really like the hotel and definitely will stay in the same hotel If we visit Seoul again in the future. Highly recommend Stanford hotel in Myeongdong.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2026 on our first trip to Seoul. It is perfectly located in Myeongdong’s heart (above the Apple Store), and is across from the Lotte Mall (which has many designer stores). The hotel is surrounded by many streets full of shopping and restaurants. Steps away is a street which gets lively in the evening with street food vendors. Myeongdong train station is just a street over. We arrived early and reception held our luggage (during checkout there are free lockers available). Staff was warm and friendly. The room was clean and very spacious and we had a welcome snack gift. The AC worked well. We used the laundry facilities which had separate washers and dryers. Amenities (towels and water bottles) were replaced daily . Unfortunately, we found the Wi-Fi to be poor. Breakfast was reasonable; highlights included fresh croffles. When booking we included breakfast for two (there was no option for kids), so there was an additional charge for our kid (9,900 Won/day). As a side note, the Lotte Mall across offers excellent lunch and dining option in their food court and also has a fancy grocery. A trip to the Lotte World Tower took about 30 min by train. The Incheon Airport shuttle is right across the Ibis hotel, with tickets available on boarding (17,000 Won/adult, 12,000 for kids). Shuttle times are available at reception. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and if someone wants to stay in Myeongdong, we would recommend this hotel.

Its location is great for first timer visiting Seoul! Everything you need is just few steps away. When you walk out the hotel, lots of restaurants, pharmacies, shopping stores, beauty clinics etc. to choose from. There is a self-check luggage storage available, a money exchange machine, a mini store and a cafe/bar in the lobby area of the hotel.
