Surpassed expectations! Great value and location. I was initially hesitant to stay at an Ibis due to a past bad experience in Europe, but I decided to give this location a chance since it was recently renovated. I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was great—clean, modern rooms and very friendly staff. A major bonus was that the room was cleaned daily at no extra charge, which feels increasingly rare in Europe these days. The location is excellent, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong or Changdeokgung Palace in about 20 to 30 minutes. My only minor feedback is regarding the bathroom: while clean and mold-free, it could use a modern update to match the rest of the room. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its price, quality, and location!

The location is very convenient, in the heart of Insadong. Food alleys just across the street with many yummy options. There is Paris Baguette bakery next door, 7 Eleven, GS25 convenience stores as well. It also close to some main attractions such as the 2 famous palaces. The room is very clean and the staff are very helpful and courteous.

The property was clean, room was smaller side but is more than enough if you are travelling Solo. The breakfast was also satisfying and the staff was helpful. One of the best feature of the hotel is the location! It's located right in Insadong and is close to Myeongdong. I would book again for this

I absolutely loved my stay here. The breakfast was delicious and Asian-style (warning for westerners though, there are a lot of more asian style savory options!)-- I honestly regretted not adding it to my package initially! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic as it was adjacent to the palaces as well as the quaint Ikseondong hanbok-style cafes and shops. The room was regularly cleaned and was spacious (though not exceptionally spacious by American standards, I felt it was perfect for me). I would stay here again if I returned to Seoul!

The location was excellent. I stayed in this hotel 7 years ago, and since my stay it renovated the hotel. Also, I noticed that there were more interesting shops and restaurants all in the walking distance from hotel. The bathroom is classic cruise ship mold. In other words, just image tiny space, but it had everything and it works. I paid great price for the stay, and there were a lot of foreign tourists. I would stay in this place again for the excellent location it is at.
