We traveled from USA and were impressed with the hospitality of this hotel. We had a wonderful stay. Hotel was beautiful, clean and welcoming. The food was delicious with plenty of variety and drinks were excellent- there was always something to enjoy. The staff were friendly and attentive, overall it was a great vacation in Iberostar Albufera Playa, I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

I stayed at this hotel with my mother and we had an exceptional stay. The staff were incredible and we felt very spoilt with the VIP perks. Every person we interacted with in the team gave 100% amazing service, the front desk, cleaning staff, wait staff in the restaurants, bar staff, lifeguards, cafe team... literally everyone. The food was especially great, plenty of options to choose from and we were fortunate enough to get to eat at all 3 al a carte restaurants on site (Greek was my mothers favourite, Mexican mine). The direct access to the beach was bliss. The multiple pools meant that we were able to have spaces for adults and others for children. The rooftops were fabulous. It was honestly better than I'd expected and I'd 100% go back! Thank you Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa for an exceptional stay!!

Everything was lovely and enjoyable but the beach has a lot of seaweed and so sadly did not spend time there but the resort is great.

Beautiful property! Food and drinks were great, particularly great cocktails! Biggest feedback is that there should be more adult only areas. Fine if you’re a family but not great if you’re travelling as a couple, no bar, dining or pool areas without kids

Mostly all excellent apart from the dinner at the bbq. Not good service and burgers were not the best. Mexican was amazing though and best way to finish the holiday.

We booked the premium seaview room with the double bed and when we checked in, we got a room with no sea view but the parking lot instead and only one small bed. The resort was completely booked out so we had to stay in that room the first night. Luckily, the guest manager Teresa upgraded us to a seafront view suite starting the next day which was wonderful. The next three days were nice. The food was good and so was the service, to the most part. Some of the staff does not speak English, so it was challenging at times to communicate the food that we wanted and special needs we had due to food allergies which the hotel does not communicate about with their food. On day 4, my wife and I got a massage at the spa. Her therapist used menthol gel and put it on my wife's ears and upper face with some of it getting into her eye, all without asking prior. My wife had a reaction and immediately showered off at the spa. Burning and a headache followed. She then asked for a cream to help sooth her skin. After the applied the cream, they asked her for 54 Euros extra, for just the cream. We obviously were furious. The therapist caused this problem in the first place and then charged extra for a littlw bit of cream? I spoke with the guest manager Teresa about this and all we got was that their staff are professionals. No "I am sorry this happened". After talking to Teresa's manager, we got at least the massage refunded but still paid for the cream. That was all totally mismanaged.
