Great place to stay very convenient!

Room was ok, but it's way too expensive for what does it offer. Complimentary breakfast is very poor quality and assortment.

Great a lot, easy check in, clean room. Hot shower.

Very uncomfortable room. Bins inside the room were full from previous guests Old Cabinets not stable. Dangerous

This is a lovely old house nicely renovated and decorated in a light and simple modern way, and quite well maintained. There is lots of parking and the bus from Portree can drop you off at the bus shelter right in front. Although my single room was small, it was very clean and had some pretty decorations and a comfy bed. It was lovely to hear the birds singing outside the window with the view of tall rhododendron bushes. The tea tray and a small fridge were helpful to have. The heavy curtains were also great, since dawn comes very early in the morning in the summer in the Hebrides. I liked most other things about the place so much that I hate to complain, but I feel that prioritizing communication with guests (I had a couple of minor issues and found the owners very difficult to reach), and getting better organized with the breakfast items provided needs to happen. There was no yogurt at all in the self service fridge on the first morning when I went down. On the second day, there were no napkins or spoons, and the cart holding used dishes was so full it was hard to find room to add mine. Same with adding my rubbish to the trash can. There was barely enough space. The room is generally very clean and pretty with Victorian style wicker seats overlooking the garden, but on that morning there were a lot of crumbs on some of the tables.

Good room for three of us, clean and nice house. The room could have done with some bedside tables and also wardrobes, or some hooks to hang up clothes. It was the most expensive place we stayed on a week long Scottish road trip and over priced, but the reason is it is on Isle of Skye. Continental breakfast not adequate as previous occupants had eaten all the food and no coffee. Nobody around to ask for more.

I loved the size of the room, comfortable bedding, ample parking, short walk to town/harbor, and the mini fridge. Breakfast was also good— continental style. We had difficulty accessing our room initially as the code did not work. After contacting the property managers by messaging in app and doing a follow u call, we were able to reach someone to get a new code.

The place is older and hasn't seen the best of maintenance in recent years it seems. The door to the bathroom in our room did not close due to misalignment. The shower stall had mold in the corners. The room itself smelled and felt damp. Nobody on site to complain to so we lived with it. Considering our experience and what was paid we would not come back unless other options were booked up. Yes the place is cheaper than a lot in the area however it was still overpriced in our eyes.

They seemed short staffed but the one woman who was there was very friendly and helpful.

Great place, breakfast was lacking although free so can’t complain too much.
