I stayed in a superior single. It was a great deal and reasonable size for the area. It wasn’t huge but it was definitely reasonable considering the area. The only negative was the there aren’t enough elevators for the size of the property and they aren’t air conditioned. So you wait a long time and then get crammed into a hot space with tons of people while it slowly makes its way up/down. But otherwise I loved it and would stay here again! Also if you decline housekeeping, they give you a certificate for £7 pounds off breakfast at one of their restaurants. I declined housekeeping twice and they let me use both certificates for the same meal, so I got their buffet breakfast (18-20 pounds) for only £6 on my final morning.

The single room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was large with nice toiletries and good towels. The restaurant/bar was large with reasonably priced food (for London prices!). There was even a plastic bottle to use with refill stations near the lifts. And the a/c worked. The downside was that the soundproofing was not great. I could easily hear the person in the room next door. The other side had a store room that staff accessed during the night and let the door slam shut, waking me up.

Excellent location for Savoy Theatre and Covent Garden. Staff were excellent and helpful , Breakfast well organised and great selection . Excellent value

Perfect location in London. Easy taxi access. Restaurant was good and the bar was really cute. Concierge was available and helpful. We would stay there again.

Such a great base, close to tube and could walk to so many attractions. Lovely hotel would definitely book again.

We loved our stay at Strand however I was incredbily disappointed when my flight was delayed and I have decided to pay for an extra night since I was arriving on the red eye and couldnt check in until 3. When I arrived at 9 they told me they considered me a no show. They gave me a room and told me bo problem… only yo charge me 265 for a no show fee. I was not told this when I checked in. After dealing witg a nasty front desk manager .. we were met by the hotel manager who assured us this would be removed. That should have been done from the start . There was no reason to get all upset for this. They need to fix this policy
