The best hotel, amazing location! Close to a lot of places waking distance also the rooms were big (US size) and clean. The staff was very kind helping us, they explained us where to get the Uber. I’m sure will come back on my next trip to Amsterdam. I took my kid and she really enjoyed the stay as well.

Excellent staff (thank you, Rob!) and nice breakfast & rooms. Centrally located to restaurants and also not far away from the Central Train Station. Nice place to stay!

The Swissotel Amsterdam was a lovely place to stay. So central with a tram stop right out the front, and surrounded by hundreds of amazing food vendors. Only short tram rides to museums, Albert Cuyp, the Heineken experience and Jordaan. The staff were extra lovely. The room was a great size and was well air-conditioned for hot days. Would stay again.

Great location and hotel in Dam Square. Loved most of the hotel! Only negative was the extreme fishy smell when walking into the lobby on one of the days - assume it came from the kitchen/restaurant. Staff was very helpful. Bed comfortable!

Room service from the attached restaurant was great! You don’t get priority over customers in the restaurant though. Place is very clean, bathroom was huge in this suite! The deck was rather small, but had a great view of the central open area by the memorial. Very close to food, BUT avoid almost everything down the street towards DeWallen. With the exception of the Oriental City Amsterdam and Rene’s Croissanterie. The rest are all just mid level foods.
