The room was super clean that was great! AC was super cold and that was huge, definitely need cold AC. There are a lot of amenities, which is great. Though the restaurant/bar closes too early, 10pm seems way too early for a hotel/resort in Key West. Also, would have been nice breakfast was more easily accessible. We were on the 3rd floor, and the elevator was not working properly, the button to call it to go down was not working so we called it to go up, and then once inside the elevator, the button for the 1st floor wasn’t working, so we then had to go walk down from the 4th floor with our luggage to get to our truck. When we checked out the staff wrote down our concerns with the elevator, though didn’t even offer to discount our stay for the huge inconvenience. Overall the stay was good but it could have been better.

We had a wonderful trip at the Blue Flamingo in Key West. It’s in New Town of Key West. Only 10 minutes to Duvall Street. The Shuttle service was very convenient and easy to schedule. The rooms were very clean. The property was beautiful and great amenities. The breakfast was great! There are two pools and were very large, it was never overcrowded. Quiet peaceful evenings to relax on the tropical grounds of the resort. The atmosphere was paradise. Management and staff were very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend this property when visiting Key West. 10/10

A beautiful stay! my fiancé and I enjoyed every last moment of our trip at the blue flamingo. The staff was extremely accommodating and even allowed us to do a late checkout. We dearly appreciate the Manager for dropping by some goodies to celebrate our engagement.

Staff was very helpful and informative. The pictures online are absolutely what you get in person. Shuttle service was the best thing ever. Amazing amenities all around. Pool and bar were so enjoyable. Room service even left my girlfriend and I roses and champagne upon request for our anniversary. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

Room was clean. Property was well-maintained. The lobby is a vibe, and always smells great. Had a king bed with sofa bed suite with fridge, microwave and sink. No laundromat on facility, but laundry services are available. Free hotel shuttle stops here first and drops you off about 5 min walk away from Duval St/Mallory Sq. Use it if you can or Lyft (cost us $14 at 10pm on a Sunday). Parking can be hard to find & can be expensive in the popular areas. Also Old Town Trolley pick up/drop off is just to the right of the property. Pool temp stayed comfortable even when windy. Pool towels available for drying off, just can’t be taken to the rooms. Lots of outdoor games between the two pools for all ages. Starbucks is downstairs, which was really convenient. McDonald’s is just to the left of the property. Hotel food was actually good. Chickens roam free, but that’s all over Key West. Publix is a short drive away. Plenty of restaurants around the island. Don’t come here for the beaches. Unfortunately sargassum has taken over the shores. This resort is situated away from those areas, so it does not stink. Come for snorkeling, sandbars, and other water activities. Enjoy the culture because it is truly beautiful. We’re from Texas but started our vacay in Siesta Key and Anna Maria. No sargassum there. Here you enjoy local food, homemade stuff, the sound, the atmosphere, and of course the water if you can spend a little extra to be on a boat to somewhere.

Our stay was very nice overall our room was very clean and the resort was very clean & friendly. However there were a couple things. One. Would be the front desk the older gentleman hardly spoke English when we first got there we had asked for our room to be closer to the pool area and we would pay the difference he assured me someone would get in touch with us we never heard anything so we just didn’t worry about it . The other Wase check out. I wanted to use my other credit card and we gave him that card and he looked like he used it and said everything is good, but that wasn’t the case. He used the card that I booked with instead which again we were like ok . The other things that people should be aware of is after 11 they LOCK everything up . So you can’t even get through the lobby you have to walk around front and all the way down to get to your room so after 11 all the Resort accommodations are locked up. This is something that wasn’t explained to us at the time of check-in. The other one is we were going to run out the airstream for karaoke but when you go up there to pay for it, they then tell you there’s only six people allowed and the door has to stay shut so for the money it wasn’t worth it at all. That’s just something to keep in mind. Other than that. It was a nice fun environment. Just wish the people at the front desk understood us better.
