The resort is an older property that would benefit from a little updating. Having said that , it did not detract from an excellent stay, exceptionally helpful staff, an amazing breakfast buffet and a location that was perfect. Sunset from our balcony was a special moment. We only eat in the resort one evening and were pleased with the variety of options. However, as with all resorts, food is more expensive that local restaurants. We used the pool by the glass bar so as to avoid the children in the main pool. All in all recommended.

The hotel is decent overall. From our experience, cleanliness standards in some hotels and resort areas in Malaysia may differ from what we are used to in Canada. When we arrived, the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, and there were hairs on the bathroom floor. The beach, however, is excellent — white sand, shallow water, and very family-friendly, especially for kids. There are also plenty of activities available directly on the beach, such as jet skiing and paragliding. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our stay. I would not recommend purchasing the breakfast. We tried it once and paid directly at the counter, but the experience was disappointing. The staff were slow to clear tables after guests left, so many tables remained dirty for quite a while. The cleanliness of the glasses also left much to be desired, and it was difficult to find a reasonably clean glass for juice. In addition, the food selection was quite limited for the price. The room does include a fridge, so instead we used Grab to visit a nearby fruit shop and bought fresh fruit and yogurt, which worked much better for us. I also highly recommend signing up for the Villa Gold Card during check-in. It’s free and gives access to the infinity pool as well as a 10% discount on food. This was our third hotel in Malaysia during our two-week trip, and we noticed that the level of service is generally different from what we are accustomed to in Canada or Mexico.

A great place to stay to get away from it all. Wonderful pools and right on the beach. Family oriented and relaxed end of beach. Huge buffet breakfast.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and honestly felt like a complete waste of money and time. This was the most expensive hotel out of the three we stayed at during our honeymoon, and unfortunately it turned out to be the worst experience of the entire trip. From the moment we arrived, the service was poor. There was no welcome drink or warm hospitality, which was surprising considering the price and reputation of the hotel. The biggest issue, however, was the condition of the room. The room was dirty and poorly maintained, which is unacceptable for a hotel charging premium rates. When we complained about the cleanliness, the housekeeping staff came and simply wiped curry stains off the seat using their hand and left without properly cleaning or sanitizing the area. It was shocking and very unhygienic. We reported this to the reception staff, but initially they did not seem to care or take the matter seriously. Only after a long discussion did they agree to move us to another room, but unfortunately the replacement room was no better than the first one. The condition and overall quality were still far below expectations. This hotel completely ruined a significant part of our honeymoon experience. For the amount of money we paid, we expected comfort, cleanliness, and professional service, but instead we received poor hospitality, dirty rooms, and careless staff behavior. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant or memorable stay.

I needed a deep rest. This was a perfect retreat space. The pool and beach bar are far away enough from the wonderful warm waters of the beach that I always felt I had space and alone time. Recommend breakfast … great international variety. Staff are reserved (cultural norm) but very helpful and kind. It’s a short taxi (Grab) ride from main strip (which I avoided). - a multicultural hive of holiday makers. Safe and easy. For a Langkawi resort it’s very decent. Glad I stayed.

This was so good we extended our stay another three nights they keep you entertained with activities and relaxing

Lovely clean room with sea view

The hotel was well appointed and in a beautiful location. The bedding was really comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect. The beach and pools were fantastic. The breakfast had lots to choose from however it ran out consistently so we had to ask the chefs to come out to refill rather than it being monitored. Egg station was great though. The hotel menu was limited on Malaysian cuisine and heavily waited towards western style food. There is lots of restaurants just a short stroll so definitely still spoilt for choice. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.
