Easy check in, comfy bed, clean room (with the exception of the bathroom). Cleaners need to focus on the shower as that was not very clean at all. Will be sending photos. Breakfast buffet was ok, not worth $35 per head. Would be great if they kept up with the demand as we had to keep going to check if they had refilled some items. Ie: no eggs. Other than that we’re happy with our stay.

Fantastisk Great location and wonderful private access from accommodation to sovereign hill. Rooms we were expecting to be basic, but really they could do with new mattresses on the main bed! I’d say they are old as the hotel but they haven’t kept their charm like the beautiful hotel has! I actually ended up sleeping in the kids bunk bed because it was a better mattress. Other than this it has everything you need, the old vibes, great staff, great location and warm on a winters day.

We had no phone to contact reception. There was no toaster as they said its a hazard, but yet there was a hair dryer. You could here people in the next room clearly, as if they were in our room. The walls were filthy dirty. There was no couch to sit on.

first time in Ballarat , everything was great , the bed was top of the range , the staff amazing. One of my best stays, book a room again there in a heartbeat
