Decent condition of location. Rooms were clean and recommend first floor for ease of access.

The location is in desperate need of renovations. The rooms smell musty, carpets need to be replaced, plaster in the ceilings is cracked and chipping, pillow mist and a half drank water bottle was left behind in our room from either a guest or housekeeping, and the restaurant was closed both days due to a private event, and people just leave food trash in the hall outside of their doors. That's not even the worst part...after returning from a night out, we opened the door, and a mouse ran out of my closet across the room and behind the bed!!! I went down to the front desk and oddly I did not feel that the desk staff was surprised. He offered to waive my parking fee, which by the way is $20 per night. At that point I would have rather have slept in the car. We were moved to another room. Totally freaked out, we packed our bags and headed to the new room. When we entered the new room, I opened the door and to my surprise and the person we walked in on, the room was already occupied! Back to the front desk to move again. At this point it was midnight , and I pretty much did not sleep all night. The next morning, I spoke to a manager who was not alerted by the evening staff as to what transpired. He credited the parking and offered Expedia points. Honestly, I regret booking through Expedia as it limited my recourse, and I would NEVER recommend this property. It was disgusting.

Body wash bottle was ripped off the wall and they placed it in the shower caddy. Hair in bathtub. No suitcase holder. Broken remote. Room view was disgusting.

Lived near by all my life, stayed there for the first time because my son was visiting . Accommodations surpass expectations . Surrounding area very nice . Thought complimentary coffee in the morning would have been nice but not a big deal

Nice clean hotel, comfy beds, good breakfast and nice staff. Was only there 1 night but everything good

This hotel is amazing — spotlessly clean and perfectly located.

Rooms were updated and clean, staff was wonderful. Outside could use some updating. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

I was staying in the Newton Hotel while I was waiting for my spouse to have surgery on his spine. The reception staff was extremely helpful by allowing me to stay 3 hours over the checkout time. This was when the FIFA event was starting and the Hotel was booked. The only problem was that they did not provide a complementary coffee or hot water station. There was a Starbucks station, but that was not complementary nor open. Everything else was great, especially the staff at registration.

When booking the reservation, it said free parking, however, while checking in, they said it was $20 a day, but they waived it.

I liked the view to the river and it was very quiet.
