Very tidy unit with all the amenities you need. Restaurant on-site also serves decent food. Especially convenient location if you need to be close to Nelson Public Hospital.

The TV only had Channel 2; a political channel, a sport channel and one movie … no standard TV1 or TV3 or anything like that (had 2 TVs) and both were the same. The Air Con didn’t work properly and both the system and TVs are really old. Hotel is now becoming tired and there is no longer an access to a gym. The restaurant is still good - but they don’t “stock” trim milk for coffee which is odd. Hotel hasn’t been updated much and has really gone downhill over time. Have stayed multiple times each year but am going to look for something else from now on.

Our stay was good with comfortable bed with 2 Queen beds in room gave less room for another chair if staying longer, otherwise we enjoyed our stay and dinner at the flames

The room with a separate, well equipped kitchenette, was clean and well presented. Could do with updating, particularly the bathroom, but would certainly stay there again. Check in was easy and staff were pleasant and helpful. The food at Flames Restaurant, which was on site, was excellent and the meals were large. Good service as well. Great location close to town with onsite parking.
