Fantastisk Great hotel for the price. Bigger rooms than standard Japanese rooms too. Very clean, close to train station, car parking available and very friendly staff.
Will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel!! Everything is clean, staff is super friendly and always willing to help. It’s super close to train station and about 20-25 min walk to Hirosaki castle or by bus. Lots of places to eat around.
Visitor center across the street at train station. Recommend visiting that to help plan itinerary etc.
They also have cheap car parking if renting a car.
Will be staying here again when visiting Hirosaki.

The beds were rock hard and felt like sleeping on concrete and overall extremely uncomfortable (and I like firm beds). Also, the staff was not flexible with early check in before 3pm so we had to sit and wait 45 minutes even though rooms were empty and clean, despite checking with 3 different staff members in case lost in translation. On the positive front the location is right at the train station and very convenient with shops and food nearby.

Not a great place for elderly travellers. The room is small, the bathroom was a plastic pod, a small bathroom with a step up from the floor, not great for late at nite. The bath side was unusually high , to step over, into a slippery bath bottom was dangerous.

The breakfast was good and plentiful.Staff were courteous and helpful.
However I was very surprised at how hard the bed was we have not experienced that in the previous 7 nights at various northern Japan hotels. Sleep was difficult along with the loud level of train noise overnight.
