We asked for two beds. We checked in at 1:00 a m. Last room. One bed only. The staff is excellent breakfast was good. Coffee delicious. Hostess was charming. Many foreign workers. Great atmosphere. Spoke to many. Front desk Gave us a late check out. Ordered a taxi for us. I use a walker. They were very helpful !!! Room small but efficient. They had good mattress and extra pillows. Good air conditioning. Location near the train station. 10 minutes to airport.

The airconditioning not working in hotel room allocated complained staff seemed very disinterested in looking at the complaint.. all the general manager said was no other complaints I can see the master control .. offered full return if money unsatisfactory no other room available . Actual room booked was also unavailable even though it was booked 5 months previous to hotel stay and fully paid .. 3 x we complained 1 st response someone will come up 2 nd response was via telephone someone is coming up 3 rd response was in person to general manager the outside temperature was 36 c degrees no opening window in room ,all public areas aircon working ..including hallway main lobby .. told third time maintenance person had gone home for day offered a fan for room .. not satisfactory as we ordered airconditioning .. and fully paid in advance .. girl behind counter at check in didn’t seem very proficient at her job having to ask 3 people how she could give us room .. on check in .. general manager didn’t seem very interested to go and look at issue , I spoke dutch as a local would so I couldn’t be fooled by a tourist .. another person at desk overheard conversation her shower tap broken unable to turn off .. she was given new towels to deal with situation herself ????? Not good from a person in hotel industry the attitude ..portrayed..

great spot, right outside the metro station. great connectivity for City center and airport.

The location makes visiting the city very easy, without being in the noisy core. Breakfast was great with both continental and more European options.

This Holiday Inn is perfectly situated right next to the train station, 1 stop to Amsterdam Centraal and 2 stops from Schipol Airport. We didn't spend a lot of time in the area but the restaurant next door was lovely and the Spar shop downstairs was very handy. We hired bikes from a place in Centraal, as the Holiday Inn didnt have any when we asked - my only reason for the imperfect score overall but we were able to lock them up just outside overnight and ride back through the park. The staff were very helpful and accomodating.

Always a great place to stay. Quick train from Schipol airport to Sloterdijk station and less than a minute walk to the hotel! Very easy check in process.. clean rooms.. very quite and comfortable. Then its only a quick 6 minute train to Amsterdam Centraal! So absolutely a perfect location!:) my 7th time staying here. And i always will when visiting amsterdam

Breakfast was very good, The room was clean and comfortable I would recommend this hotel

:)

Room is clean

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is very good as it is a 1 minute walk from the railway station. The train only takes 10 minutes to get to Central Station in Amsterdam very convenient.
