The staff were amazing especially the check in staff. Sad to say this was the only 5 star thing about the hotel.
The hotel lobby is clean and modern, but once you get to the rooms its like getting taken back in time. Rooms are very dated, and just not up to the usual shangri la standard.
Fixings were loose, screws protruding from door chain.
The price was cheap, but with the shangri la name you still expect decent rooms.
I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, but will still stay in shangri la in other countries
