It is good for value this hotel. Location is good to access public transportation.

Everything was very good except the wifi. It didn't work when in your room. Eventually, and after much complaining, a different network was provided that did work. Staff very nice and helpful, except for only one. Be aware that not all rooms are "climatisees" and that standard rooms do not include air conditioner. It's a pity that the wifi issue prevents me from giving the hotel a higher mark.

The room was clean, and had everything I needed. Reception were friendly and efficient. The tower fan was a life saver as the property doesn’t have air con and we stayed in 32° heat. Neighbourhood was nice and super convenient for visiting the catacombs. Would return!

We did not have breakfasts in the hotel

This hotel is beautifully situated right in front of a Metro station, so it was easy to get downtown. To get to the registration desk, one had to walk up a narrow flight of 25 stairs, with luggage. But then to get to the 8th floor where our room was, we used the 3x3 foot square elevator, which was sufficient for our need. Florent, who worked the front desk for most of the time we were there, was incredibly helpful and friendly! He helped us with directions, and even went above and beyond to help us with our new Metro pass. We would go back there, if only to chat with him again! Our view of the city was outstanding from our room. The room was very small, but we didn't stay in there long as we spent our time seeing Paris. Thank you, Florent, for making our stay at the Lion so much more pleasant!

The hotel was basic but clean, quiet and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The location right by the metro and RER B station was ideal. So convenient to have the train from CDG right to the door without having to change. From the hotel, it was an easy 30-40 minutes walk to the Ile de la Cité (or a few stops on the metro). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value with pastries, bread, spreads, cheese, yogurt, cereals, madeleines and juice. One thing to note: reception is on level 1 and only accessible via stairs so something to consider if you have a lot of luggage and/or mobility issues.

First of all, I have to say that the staff at this hotel is a 10 out of 10. This was the first hotel that we stayed at as part of a longer trip in Europe. The front desk staff was so friendly, accommodating, and very welcoming. We did not speak the native language, and although there was a language barrier, they made our entire check-in process and entire stay so easy. The room was very small, which is normal in this area, but the room and view were wonderful. There is an elevator available after you make it to the floor that the front desk is on, but beware that it’s not easy to get all of your suitcases up the first flight and a half of stairs before the elevator so if you were staying here, you may wanna pack lightly

Breakfast is just a croissant. The rooms are small and the floor is very dusty. The rest of the room was fine though cleanliness wise.
