Dormy Inn is the hidden gem for foreigners looking for affordable hotel stays with luxury amenities. They have onsens, delicious local juice, coffee, ice cream, and noodle soups (time dependent) all included for guests. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

A gem for a family of 4 traveling. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the onsen is great. I’m not Japanese but I know clean and when something is well cared for. The sauna is great. The onsen was never too busy and the water was clean. Breakfast was not great but the onsen makes it worth it.

Very clean, location cannot get any better if you are in Kurashiki to see the historical district- it’s across the street haha! The front desk are so sweet and accommodating- I had a package shipped from my previous hotel and they were extremely helpful. Great spot for solo travelers! :)

Very convenient location to where you want to be in Kurashiki. I will use it here again. Breakfast is a little chaotic, but the food was fine. You will have so many restaurants options in the 10 minute walking radius.

Great hotel a few meters from Bikan Historical Quarter. Good standard size room, staff polite and professional, the onsen is a plus. The breakfast spread could be improved by providing more choices for western guests. All that rice and fish were too much for the western taste. A cereal or yoghurt wouldn’t hurt.

The hotel stuffs were very friendly and helpful. Complementary espresso drinks, soft drinks bar was excellent. Hot spring bath was fantastic. The location was the best…1 minute from Kurashiki’s beautiful historic area.
