I liked everything. When reception realised I was disabled they immediately offered me a room with disabled facilities. Marvelous really. They were wonderful. The valet parking is priceless. After The Grand in Eastbourne I think you have the best hotel in England. Best wishes, John

I love this hotel. My parents had their wedding reception there in 1943. The tea in Alice's was perfection, and my room was out of a Beatrix Potter storybook. Registration staff was so welcoming with big smiles. The hotel is beautifully decorated and sports the cutest little elevator. It is spotless, everywhere. I love this place!

Fantastisk
If you want the "Oxford" experience, this is the hotel you want. Oscar Wilde's preferred bar in the lobby, great dining, and spacious rooms with ceilings so tall you feel like you could erect a rock climbing wall in them. Impeccable service from the staff; just across the street from the museum; and within easy walking distance of all of the essential Oxford sites.

Splendid hotel. Superb location right in the heart of Oxford. So English and quaint. Very comfortable bed. Delicious high tea. Perfect.

A rather shabby hotel which save for the restaurant is served by obviously demotivated and poorly trained staff . The attention to detail was quite shocking . The lift was out of order to the the 4th floor and being " urgently " repaired - over a 24 hour period there was no sign of any repair activity , the bar crowded and sporadically staffed. The doormen shuffling about with their shirt tails hanging out and filthy chandeliers in reception. This hotel is an overpriced and dreary place .

Traditional hotel with comfortable room. The lighting in my single room needed improvement. Excellent lunch in The Alice and top class afternoon tea in the Drawing Room. Staff at reception exceptionally helpful
