One night stay on a second floor, the studio room was very spacious, smaller bathroom but still perfectly adequate. Clean room and comfy bed. Good price having just booked the night before I stayed.

Friendly staff and good communication. The rooms are dated, but were a good size and well provisioned. Handy to the CBD and it was nice to look over Hagley Park. The hotel is on a very busy intersection and there was a bit of traffic noise, but not too bad. Would stay there again.

Very noisy with the road. Unable to sleep no double blazing which would help. Get a room opposite side to the road.

Lovely large well-appointed room in an excellent location for visiting Christchurch's attractions. Quiet considering the area, although some sound leakage from other rooms overnight. Staff were very helpful but could be hard to contact. Overall a great stay.

Spacious room with all we needed. No hassle with parking. Reception was unattended both when I dropped our bag off and when I came back to check in. Issues with the TV which kept losing signal and the heat pump didn't heat the room. Concerned about security - the hotel allows people to come in through reception (shared with a restaurant) and go via lift up to the floors without swipe card access. Hotel entrance door is open without swipe access needed until 10:30pm.

The shower had no water pressure at all, barely more than a trickle and the water was far from hot. The bed was hard and showing its age. Being on the corner of Riccarton Road and Hagley Park the traffic noise from boy racers was annoying throughout the night. The room was adequate for our needs but some maintenance could improve things immensely.
