For a cheap getaway to Malaga, this is a great stay. You can travel easily around Malaga as there are regular buses to key areas in Malaga and a local supermarket a few mins walk away. They had a happy hour social for visitors at the hotel where you got complimentary tapas and beverages during the week in their social lounge. I was disappointed with Breakfast at this hotel, the hot breakfast was usually cold and there were limited healthy options. I also did not have housekeeping service my room or provide clean towels once whereas when I have stayed at other IHG hotels, this has been done well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge Suites in Malaga. The room was a great size and they had ample closet space for our belongings. The washroom was very clean with a great blow dryer! The bed and pillows were all very comfortable. It was in a good location and easy to walk to the main part of town.

Virginia was great at check-in. Overall, we liked the facilities very much. However, the surrounding neighborhood, while safe and pleasant, is almost totally devoid of decent (heck, ANY) restaurants or other shopping. Also, this property needs to have a proper workout facility. It has a relatively roomy "conference room" on Floor # 1, which could easily be converted into something that is actually used. There is no pool area, so the primary exercise is the lengthy hike to the City Center.

Spotless hotel, not far from the centre, easy to get a taxi or and Uber. This was my second time staying at this hotel and can’t wait to stay again
