Vores guide, Ange, var opmærksom og proaktiv under hele turen. To medlemmer af vores gruppe havde tidligere oplevet alvorlig køresyge, så vi anmodede om at tage den alternative rute via A1-motorvejen for at undgå de snoede veje og køre direkte til De 12 Apostle. At tage denne rute betød, at heldagsturen ville have været kortere, men Ange tog initiativ til at foreslå yderligere naturskønne stop undervejs for at sikre, at vi stadig fik mest muligt ud af vores tid og fik en mindeværdig oplevelse. Han anbefalede også gode stop for mad. Køreturen var sikker, behagelig og velplanlagt, hvilket gjorde, at vi fuldt ud kunne slappe af og nyde rejsen. Anges lokale viden, varme personlighed og evne til at tilpasse sig vores behov tilføjede et personligt og mindeværdigt præg til turen. Rounded off the trip to Melbourne with a day trip to 12 Apostles with 88luxurytours. Our driver and guide, Ange, was marvellous. He took excellent care of us throughout the journey, walked us to various sites and explained the historical background to us. Our family enjoyed the tour thoroughly.

Highly recommended. Melvin took us on a reversed itinerary for Great Ocean Road. He is a knowledgeable guide who engages us. He is most patient & accommodating & doesn't hurry us through the places of interest & allows us ample time to explore & soak in the sights. We booked another 2 private tours with Melvin for Mornington Peninsula & Phillip Island. Had very enjoyable experiences with Melvin & would certainly engage him again should we return to Melbourne or even for other states of Australia.

Melvin was a great guide, knowledgeable about the trip, friendly and most important of all, kept us feeling comfortable from the moment we step foot into his spacious and comfortable van complete with pleasant and joyful music that is soothing to the ears. Even with the unpredictable weather that is in Melbourne, Melvin never ceases to amaze us with his quick thinking and early preparation of getting umbrellas for us just as the rain starts to drop. I will definitely come again for his tours if I do visit Australia again. You have great music taste BTW.

We highly, highly recommend availing of the Private Day Tour with Melvin. Unlike other private car tours we participated in other countries where the driver just drives you around different stops, this tour with Melvin is a proper tour with an expert guide on the Great Ocean Road, its history, and highlights.
