Kintsugi-workshop i Singapore
- Kintsugi er en ældgammel japansk kunst, der involverer reparation af knust keramik ved hjælp af guld. Det undervises ud fra princippet om, at når du reparerer en knust keramik og belyser revnerne med guld, skaber du et endnu smukkere kunstværk.
- Det er meget relevant for folk i alle generationer, unge og gamle, der kan gennemgå 'knusthed' (følelsesmæssig nød) og kan føle sig tynget af visse 'revner' (uheldige begivenheder) gennem arbejdsstress eller relationsproblemer med venner, familie eller kolleger.
- Gennem Kintsugi-helingssessionen lærer vi deltagerne, hvordan man skaber de rigtige forbindelser (limer de knuste keramiske stykker sammen) og kommer sig over vanskelighederne og kommer videre med livet.
- Kintsugi Art lærer os også bæredygtighed - reparer og genbrug dine knuste keramiske tallerkener, skåle osv. Smid dem ikke væk!
- Alle er velkomne til at lære Kintsugi - unge, voksne, seniorer, LGBTQ og kørestolsvenlige.

Hvad du kan forvente
Start din session med en kort præsentation om Kintsugis historie, og hvordan den relaterer sig til vores daglige liv. Derefter vælger du et japansk keramikstykke og smadrer det! Efter det vil du fortsætte med at reparere keramikken revne for revne og afslutte med en børstning af guldstøv. Du vil vende hjem med et smukt færdiggjort Kintsugi-mesterværk i en dejlig Sakura-blomstgaveæske.

I had a wonderful and excellent experience on this workshop! From the sharing on what is kintsugi about, the breaking, the mending and the sharing! the therapy also spoke personally to me! the friendly teacher Nilo & assistant Chong were very approachable too!
I was intrigued by the tagline "Broken made beautiful," and I was blown away by the experience. From the process of selecting our pottery piece, breaking, arranging, sticking the pieces together, fixing, and adding the finishing touches, it was indeed therapeutic. Nilo, the lovely lady who started this studio, was so warm and generous. My girl enjoyed the session thoroughly and asked me when will be the next time we would return. Thank you, Nilo, for starting @kintsugiartstudio and hosting us. ❤️
Had an Amazing time. Really relaxing experience creating my piece . Met some lovely people at the class. Also learnt about kintsugi as an art form. The beginners workshop was deffo worth it and good value for money. The instructor was really knowledgeable and patient with us.
Went for the beginners course. It was a relaxing and easy to follow course. Ceramics, resin and tools are provided. The studio is a nice stylish space and Nilo is a great mentor~

Nilo is such a patient, pleasant and beautiful coach. Having to understand more about Kintsugi and the beauty behind the "broken art" is a constant reminder to ourselves to see life in a different perspective. We enjoyed the class through the few hours!

Nilo was a great lady who was really patient with us throughout the entire sessions I’m also truly amazed at how she incorporated healing into the whole Kintsugi concept. I truly appreciated the effort at this attempt to incorporate mental wellness and I hope more people would benefit from her sessions! We went there for our 5th dating anniversary, and it was an interesting experience indeed and we truly enjoyed ourselves.
Learned about the history of Kintsugi and how to mend broken ceramics. Nice and relaxing workshop. Enjoyed the whole session.
