"Shocking Stage Effects": The performance uses 360° image presentation, a holographic acoustic system, comprehensive stage design within the theater, delicate dramatic lighting design, a large number of special effects, and a blend of virtual and real props, immersing the audience. For example, the actors' entrances are unique, distributed in different positions before the show, making it difficult to distinguish between real and fake; on stage, there is a 1:1 replica of Chiang Kai-shek's private plane, as well as large scene arrangements such as buildings and bridges, with the plane even "flying" onto the stage; multimedia special effects make gunfire and explosions seem real, providing a strong visual impact.

The Xi'an Incident broke out on December 12, 1936, and is therefore also known as the "Double Twelve Incident" in history. It was initiated by patriotic generals Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng within the Kuomintang who advocated resistance against Japan.
"12.12" Xi'an Incident is a grand production by Shaanxi Tourism Group's Huaqing Palace Scenic Area, a masterpiece of performing arts launched at Huaqing Palace, the site of the "Xi'an Incident". The entire play authentically and vividly recreates the little-known historical original appearance of the "Xi'an Incident" through ten acts including "Beacon Fire Ancient City", "Intensified Conflict", "Hasty Conspiracy", "Arrow on the Bowstring", "Ready for Battle", "War Imminent", "Gunshot at Dawn", "United Front", and "Vicissitudes of Life", using high-tech stage techniques combined with film art and theatrical art.
