Kakheti: Sighnaghi, Bodbe, KTW Vingård, Brød- og Churchkhela-smagning

Vi havde en fantastisk tid på vores Kakheti vintur, ærligt talt en af de sjoveste dage på turen! Hele dagen var super afslappet, med enestående udsigt over vinmarker og landskabet. Vinsmagningerne var fantastiske, og det var virkelig fedt at lære lidt om, hvordan Georgien gør vin anderledes. En af de bedste dele var at få lov til at lave og smage traditionelt georgisk brød og churchkhela, sådan en sjov, praktisk oplevelse (og alt smagte så godt). Og George… han gjorde hele dagen 😂 Han er ægte morsom og fik alle til at grine fra start til slut, men han vidste også, hvad han talte om, og delte interessante historier undervejs. Det føltes aldrig som en "tur", mere som at hænge ud med en sjov ven, der viser dig rundt. Alt var velorganiseret og nemt, og vi følte os aldrig forhastede på noget tidspunkt. Kan klart anbefale denne tur, hvis du er i Georgien, især hvis du får George! 🍷

There was a slight hiccup with the start of my tour and I had to change vans, but it was handled well. Must go if you want to try many different wines, the first stop at Chronicles of Georgia was scenic, the next stop at the churchkhela place had many wines and chacha available for tasting. Bought some tasty churchkhela there too. We then stopped at a small bakery to try tonispuri, which paired nicely with various cheeses. Sighnaghi town, Great wall and lunch was next. The lunch place had great views, price was similar as in Tbilisi. Finally, we ended at Bodbe St Nino monastery when it was less crowded and more peaceful. Omar was knowledgeable and made the trip enjoyable. Expertly alternating between different languages to cater for the different nationalities. There was ample time per attraction considering the number we went to. It rained on the way back resulting in traffic jam, but the van was comfy enough to sleep in. Roughly 12 people in total

our guide, Paata, is one of the best that we have ever met. He is professional, informative, very attentive, and made our journey a memorable one. We have three stops to look at different wine tasting, which give us enough time to enjoy every moment.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our day trip to Kakheti, visiting Signaghi, the KTW Winery, and enjoying delicious local bread, wine, and Churchkhela tasting. A big part of what made the experience so enjoyable was our fantastic guide, Mr. Paata. He was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history and culture of Georgia as well as sharing interesting stories about all the places we visited. His explanations about the different Georgian wines and Churchkhela were especially interesting and made the tastings much more enjoyable. Thank you, Mr. Paata, for making our Kakheti trip so memorable! We truly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend this tour and especially Mr. Paata as a guide to anyone visiting Georgia. 🍷🇬🇪❤️

Turen er meget god. Vi lærte at lave traditionelt georgisk brød shoti, churchkhela og vin. Keti er meget vidende og gav os en omfattende introduktion til georgisk historie. Virkelig pengene værd.

想像以上にいろいろなワインをテイスティングすることができました。街をゆっくり散策したい方には少し短く感じるかもしれませんが、シグナギの雰囲気やワイン文化を「少し齧ってみる」という意味では、とても最適なツアーだと思います。

We booked a Kakheti trip and our guide was Paata. He is a really good and calm person, very knowledgeable and has great understanding of world history. We had a short but very meaningful discussion about the history of different countries and about reuniting people, which was truly insightful. He is also very knowledgeable about the wine-making process and explained it beautifully. The history of Sighnaghi really touched my heart, and I can still remember the stories he told throughout the whole journey. It will stay with me forever. Highly recommended!

Turen havde et godt tempo. Vores guide, Nino, var vittig og informativ. Vi smagte i alt 22 vine + chacha + brandy. Vi fik også lov til at lave vores egen churchkela og få frisk shoti (mors brød).

​I signed up for this tour because I wanted to try various types of wine, and it completely exceeded my expectations! ​First of all, a huge thank you to our incredibly cheerful guide, Paata! He made the whole tour so much fun and kept the energy high, so time just flew by. He treated us to an unbelievable amount of wine today—I honestly had no idea I'd get to drink this much! Thanks to him, I feel like I've become true friends with wine. ​It was fantastic to taste everything from large-scale commercial wineries to local house wines with that authentic, homemade touch. Comparing the different styles was so much fun. ​Beyond the wine, he gave us insightful explanations about the deep history of Georgian wine and the beautiful architecture of Sighnaghi, making it a truly memorable and meaningful experience.
