Brisbane Glow Worm Caves & Stargazing Night Tour

Hele turen var velorganiseret og punktlig. Vores turguide, Michael, sørgede for, at vi blev hentet til tiden, og at vi bevægede os problemfrit mellem hvert sted. Et af højdepunkterne for mig var besøget i glødeormshulen. Det var som at træde ind i en drøm! Hulen var fyldt med små, funklende lys – det føltes magisk. Solnedgangen var en anden uforglemmelig del af turen. Landskabet var simpelthen betagende, og øjeblikket føltes så varmt og romantisk. Michael sørgede betænksomt for tæpper og måtter, så vi kunne sidde komfortabelt og nyde udsigten! Men den bedste del af turen var helt klart stjernekigger-sessionen. Michael medbragte professionelle teleskoper og guidede os gennem nattehimlen som en sand ekspert. Han viste os tålmodigt, hvordan man finder planeter, stjernebilleder og stjernehobe gennem teleskopet, og hjalp os endda med at spotte Mars og Sydkorset med det blotte øje. Hans passion og dybe viden om astronomi gjorde oplevelsen helt speciel.

We enjoyed our trip from Brisbane to the glow worms. Our tour guide Michael did a great job keeping us engaged. Unfortunately we did hit a lot of traffic, so it took much longer than expected and we missed the sunset. The views were still spectacular. We also had another unfortunate event, the cloud coverage came through as we got there, so we didn't get to use the telescope. The tour guide quickly offered us blankets to sit and relax looking over the hill and made our delicious meal while we relaxed. The walk to the glow worms and back was a great time. Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour just based on the glow worm trek through the dark. If I could give advice, it would be to be prepared for cooler weather on the mountain, and book this tour on a clear day if you have that ability.

The whole experience was amazing! Our guide Michael took us to the glow worm cave for a magical session with flow worms - learning about them and seeing them chilling around in the caves. Since we had abit of time before the sunset, Michael had also gone the above and beyond by stopping by some local shops and telling us more about a local practice of fruit-selling and took us to see the unmanned fruit stand. We also stopped by Eagle Heights for an amazing view before going off to the lookout for the sunset picnic - nice food and a great time! We ended the session with stargazing at night and this was was really the highlight. Michael had an amazing telescope and such great knowledge of the equipment and the beautiful things you could find in the night sky. A generous and kind guide, and overall a lovely experience. Highly recommended :)

we enjoyed our tour as we managed to catch the sunset, stars and moon. Picnic mats and blankets were provided.

Vi var heldige at have en klar dag, og jeg har aldrig set så mange stjerner og stjerneskud før. Guiden var super god, og gruppemedlemmerne var venlige!

Location pick up was convenient and flexible as they came to my airbnb location. Glow worms was fascinating and cool , the guide at the glow worms was fun and informative. She answered all our questions about he glow worms . Also , not allowed to take pictures of glow worms as it affects them but viewing them in person is a must .The botanic gardens was peaceful and nice to walk in . Sunset at Tambourine mountain was breathtaking , apart from the sudden rain and clouds which affected the stargazing , so will have to check the weather before booking . the weather affected the view from eagle heights so couldnt see gold coast well in the clouds . Overall good experience.
