Fantastické Booked 2 twin rooms but one of the rooms was very small, asked to be moved and this was dealt with without fuss. We didn’t have the Swiss adapter, again, dealt with. One couple had breakfast every morning and said there was great choice and plenty of it. Air conditioning worked perfectly so room was never too hot. Perfect location for wandering the back lanes/shops-in ‘Tourist’ Basel. Tram stop a short walk down the hill. All staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Would highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

The room and the rest of the hotel were very clean. Air conditioning worked well. The location was perfect for us. We used the buses and trams but also walked along the Rhine and to nearby sites. I would definitely stay in Hotel Rochat again.

"This hotel is in a beautiful location in the heart of Old Town. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. Hygiene and cleanliness were exceptionally well maintained throughout. Bus and tram stops are just steps away, making it easy to explore the city. Highly recommend!"

It was a clean and friendly hotel. The best part was the location and the breakfast. I wasn’t feeling well so the receptionist was kind to let us check in early to the economy double which was a step down from what we booked so my rating is based on this room. 3 stars because the hotel and room felt like a school dorm from the 1970’s. It was very basic although very clean.
