This was the last hotel we stayed in during our two weeks. We stayed at another APA hotel across the street at the start of our trip. The hotel was ok. It was clean but the rooms are very small with a step up to get into the bathroom. The front staff did not speak much English and they have a fully automated self check in that was a little frustrating. Breakfast was at a restaurant attached to the hotel. It was fair and when you walked in they gave you a sheet that explained you were not to change seats, talk to anybody or dawdle. I needed to get 4 rooms because I was traveling with family and needed an affordable hotel, under $125 night. Location is great with plenty of restaurants and close to the trains. Another plus was being across from Ueno park that had museums and a zoo.

Location is very good, room was kinda stink. The staff was very good on assisting when she helped us move to a diff room.( the smell is terrible). Breakfast? We felt rush. was seated by the counter and the server was passing by behind me. Very uncomfortable.

The hotel is very close either way to Keisei Ueno line (from Narita airport) and the JR Ueno station (for Yamanote Line). The hotel is also next to the Tokyo Subway. Excellent hot spring bath at the top floor (with bot indoor and outdoor bath). Clean linen and newly furnished bathroom at hotel room. The bed was very clean with good mattress. You have ample space to store suitcase below the bed. Currently Tokyo hotels are more expensive then it was a few years ago (post Covid, and every one visiting Japan). But the price is still acceptable with all the amenities provided (e.g. Schick shaver) and a hot spring bath. There's also a weighing balance at the 1/F for checking the weight of your luggage - very nice and convenient. There's also two convenience stores nearby (family mart, and lawson). Staff are friendly and helpful.
