This is the second time that I have stayed at Ananda Villa while in Koh Tao. I like that it is nice and close to the dive shop that I dive with, that it is in the quieter part of town, super close to the ferry (no taxi needed), so many great places to eat in the area and of course endless options for a good massage plus the staff are super friendly and helpful.
The only thing that I don't like is that there isn't really anywhere to sit on their beach... there isn't access to chairs/lounges - which is the downfall. They have a beautiful spot with a beautiful view and you can't really enjoy it unless you bring along your towel and find a spot and take a seat on the stairs. There is a place to sit and relax if you participate in the services of the restaurant - Breeze - wish this was different!

The location was perfect for us - right next to our dive shop and the pier. I think it’s great value for the money. Staff was nice and allowed us to store our bags after checkout before we moved on.

*Tip: request upstairs corner room with ocean view
Laundry service was excellent and same price as anywhere nearby.
We stayed 5 nights to dive with Master Divers (short walk down the street) and would happily stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is far enough away from the main street to allow quiet. It is close to dining and activities. The sunsets are spectacular.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ananda. The staff was helpful and the location was great. We were just a two-minute walk from the ferry and close to the main street with shops and restaurants. The room was large and comfortable.
