The main come on was the free flowing draft beer, iced coffee, nuts dried fruits and chocolates at the lobby. The main drawback was the lack of housekeeping staff for the duration of the stay. Guests are required to bring out their trash although towels and toilet papers can be easily replaced at the counter when needed. For 300Usd a night it sure is nice to have a room cleaning service.

Free canned alcohol drinks in the room fridge. The shower, sink and toilet is separate and very spacious. There are nuts, hot/iced coffee, beer, cold water, and microwave in the lobby free to use.
Luggage to be held at hotel before checkin and check out is ¥550 per item. Early checkin is ¥700. The hotel is very strict to the check in time. Many customers were sitting at the lobby waiting for the 1600 check in time.

baggage storage is $500 yen per bag
if check in early at 2 pm they ask for $700 yen per hour until real check in time 4 pm which is $1400 yen

A lovely clean, spacious and modern hotel in walking distance of Hakata main station. Clean, safe and quiet local area and would highly recommend! Staff were friendly and welcoming too. Our only downside was that there were only 2 pillows on the bed, 1 each for 2 guests sharing a double bed, and unfortunately there were no extra available when requested which lead to a restless nights sleep.

Air conditioning worked in winter (late November) which was amazing. Was overheating and having trouble sleeping at some other hotels which were heat only but not hotel Zonk. Great sleep!

It was a good location and very close to Hakata Train Station. Friendly staff. Free beers in the fridge. But unfortunately it was not a perfect stay! The smell of the toilet is unpleasant and the shower have some molds. Loud exhaust fan that you're not allowed to turn it off so it was hard to sleep because of the annoying noise. Underneath the bed was very dusty. I think they only clean what the eyes can visibly see.
