First of all, be aware that this hotel does not have air conditioning. Europe is experiencing unprecedented heat, so it is important to verify that AC is available. I indeed thought it was, only to be informed at arrival that "only some rooms are". The property itself is ok, amenities are few, reception closes at 6pm. Young, inexperienced staff. We stayed in the superior double" which was stifling and had no view. There are apparently some much better rooms in the hotel if one specifies them. Nice location across the street from the lake. Parking (for a fee) close by.

Wonderful lake front boutique hotel. I enjoyed my stay very much. English speaking travelers will feel most welcome here-staff is fluent and very kind.

I like that the rooms were very big but especially that the staff members are all very kind.

I chose this property due to it's proximity to the train station. Be aware though it is down a steep hill from the station level. There is a public elevator on the main road that helps avoid this. On arrival staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was well equipped, though bathroom whilst well equipped was a bit cosy. Breakfast was great with plenty of fresh choice. Good value if you need to be near the station

Room was great but more importantly staff was extremely courteous and helpful in every way to make our stay comfortable and memorable ! We stayed in the junior suite on the top floor with partial lake view which was spectacular. You need to climb 2 storeys to reach here but the room was definitely worth it. The area was very central to everything- grocery stores, buses and the Freddy Mercury statue! The hotel also provided us a Montreux Riviera Card with several discounts and free local transport. Would definitely return here! Thank you.

Staff is nice and does propose places to go with an awsome list!!! Room view mention in site is exactly what you get if you choose the right room.

Lovely staff! Very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend the hotel if you are staying in Montreux. Great restaurant downstairs as well.

The location is excellent and the balcony view is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff is friendly. HOWEVER, none of this matters when the hotel does not provide basic heating in mid-December. When we checked in, the room was ice cold. There is no thermostat in the room to control the temperature. Reception told us that the heating system only works during certain hours of the day. My family, including small children, was shivering in the room wearing jackets and hats. We were given a small electric heater and blankets, but that tiny heater was completely insufficient. By the time it started to warm the room, we had already suffered from the cold. The radiators only turned on at night. This is unacceptable and completely unreasonable for a hotel in winter. A hotel that is otherwise clean, spacious, and has a great view should NEVER leave guests freezing during the day. I strongly DO NOT recommend this hotel in winter, especially for families with children
