The hotel was close to everything in the downtown area. The hotel overall looks run down, breakfast buffet was mediocre, and our room was on the street level with a night club playing music till 3:00 am. We had to leave the hotel and find another place to stay for the rest of our trip. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I am very disappointed with how this situation has been handled. When we arrived at the property, it did not match our expectations based on the photos presented online. In addition, the area was much noisier than anticipated, which made it unsuitable for my family. Before checking in or using the room, I spoke with the front desk clerk and specifically asked if I could cancel my reservation. I was advised to contact Expedia. Since then, Expedia and the property’s management have been unable to resolve the issue or process a refund. To be clear, we did not stay at the property, did not use the room, and immediately sought assistance to cancel the reservation. Despite this, I have still been charged. I am respectfully requesting a full refund. Charging a guest for accommodations that were never used and that were reported as unacceptable upon arrival is not reasonable. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and hope we can resolve it fairly.

Staff was excellent very helpful and nice. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was very spacious. Cant wait to come back

Loved the place

Air conditioner was make a load noise all night it was really hard to sleep. Staff was very rude when trying to get some breakfast. Very clean & great location.

La Casona De Don Lucas is perfectly located right in the heart of Guanajuato. Everything is within walking distance — La Plaza, Teatro Juárez, the famous tunnels, Universidad de Guanajuato, the Mercado, great restaurants, and all the main tourist sites. They also offer a nice small breakfast buffet to start your day. We highly recommend requesting a room with a balcony for stunning views of the plaza and church. The staff is super friendly and always happy to provide recommendations.

Everything was good the only problem was to get the TV started, not friendly

Very friendly ,welcoming and helpful staff. The room was very clean, cool ac (we went in May) . Buffet breakfast was delicious. Hotel is in city center near the church and walking distance to other sites. I would stay here again.
