Dobrý Great budget option near Lover's Point! Conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, park, and local dining, with bike and kayak rentals right across the street. Crema on the corner for breakfast has great coffee and far better quality than a standard chain for the same price.
The 20-minute scenic walk to Cannery Row is full of great ocean views.
Ok, now the Trade-offs:
Rooms & Views: Beds are comfortable, but rooms are outdated, TV quality is poor, and power lines block the ocean view. Plus, the seagulls act as a 4:00 AM alarm clock!
Safety/Vibe: It attracts a slightly unusual crowd for the area, and there are prominent signs warning that management isn't responsible for car break-ins. hmmm???
However for this area, the walk to the beach at any hour is worth it. Specially because you don't have to look for parking.

Fantastické Friendly staff and beautiful rooms. The only scary looking part was the parking under the building but they have plenty of spots. Right across from the beach. I look forward to come back.

Podprůměrné Watch info on some travel sites. Some say the hotel offers a continental breakfast. It does not. Just awful coffee. The room was worn out and the carpet was absolutely awful. I stayed three nights and only asked for housekeeping to come once on the second day. I left the sign for the room on the doorknob so housekeeping would see it. They did not come. I inquired at the front desk and they said you have to verbally request it at the office. Isn't that what the sign is for? Too much to ask housekeeping to see those signs? It seems that is their job. Needless to say, I will never go back. I would have just rated the hotel one star but the location was good.

Fantastické Cute little hotel right on the beach! We were in the room with the balcony in the front that looked out to Lovers Point!

Dobrý The elevator didn't work while we were here. The views and the location was beautiful. It got awfully hot at night on the third floor but the fans provided did help a bit. The TV could use an upgrade.

Fantastické This is an older property in a great location. Next to the bike path, which we love. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
