It was a nice property, had all the utensils you would need to cook, we had an inconvenient one time we got to the apartment and we get in the shower 3 minutes later no water. Apparently the town decided to do maintenance and we were going to be without water for hours. No communication whatsoever from the host letting us know, so here we are with soap using water bottles to shower when they knew what was going on and could’ve send a message. Very disappointing night. Other than bad communication, everything else is good and good location.

Great stay at Icelandic Apartments. The place was clean, cozy, and had all the basic amenities we needed. The 24-hour chat support was very helpful, and they kindly accommodated our late checkout request. When the laundry on our floor was broken, they quickly arranged for us to use another floor, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-managed stay, and we felt taken care of throughout.

The room was either super hot (no A/C) or super cold (open windows); if you opened the windows, you risked inviting all the community mosquitoes. Zero cleaning service; you need to clean yourself; which I’m fine but after a while you really need someone to come pickup at least the dirty towels and linens. Not great. Not terrible. An ok place to just sleep.

We enjoyed our stay at Icelandic Apartments. The facilities were clean and the kitchen was fairly well equipped. The only issues we had were with the door and room code, as well as the code to the laundry area for towels. However, the host worked with us to solve the issues and the response was immediate. We would stay there again.
