I loved this hotel! It’s in a beautiful part of uptown Chicago (Andersonville- an adorable gayborhood), near lots of cute shops, thrift stores, pubs, and bakeries. It sits right across the street from a beautiful cemetery, filled with gorgeous old trees. The lobby is charming and welcoming, as is the rooftop deck, where you can see the Chicago skyline in the distance. The rooms are nicely decorated-tasteful, not overly adorned. Our room had a lovely balcony that we enjoyed. Beds were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was near the elevator, and I was concerned it would be noisy, but it wasn’t. These older buildings are sturdy, and the walls were quite soundproof. Our two bedroom/two bath suite with kitchen was fully equipped and worked well for a four day stay with two adults children. You can even cook full meals if you want to. The hotel is certainly not cheap. You will absolutely pay for the quality of your stay, but if you can swing it, it’s worth every penny.

This charming , spacious, quiet and thoughtfully designed hotel in the center of delightful Andersonville was a perfect retreat for a weekend stay. We will most definitely be back.

We had an excellent stay . The accommodations were so clean and comfortable and the staff made us feel so welcome and at home . We wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we travel to Chicago again .

This may be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The neighborhood is great, but the hotel is a repurposed apartment building and rooms have multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, W/D, balcony. AMAZING. Clean, sleek, updated, perfect. I wish there was one of these in every city in the world.

We had a great stay with our two your kids. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was convenient, close enough to the downtown but away from the worst of the high traffic. It was also a fun, safe neighborhood to explore. We happened to be there during a festival right down the street. The suites had everything we needed and we were even able to ask for more things for our kids to use (toddler plates, cups, a stepstool).
