Had a nice stay, staff were friendly. Very close to the station which is handy. Windows have secondary glazing so you couldn’t hear noise from the street.

Very reasonable priced for a Malmaison and right opposite the station which is just as well because there's no hotel parking provided and you can't even stop outside the hotel to drop people off. Be careful when crossing the road due to the endless convoy of buses coming round the one way system.
The room had very effective air con which was just as well because it was the hottest of days. The room had a fridge in the wardrobe which was a life saver for drinks which you can buy from the Sainsburys Local directly opposite the hotel entrance. The room was clean and everything worked so very happy overall.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. A great location, large air conditioned rooms, friendly staff and a cool vibe. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, good size room with a massive comfy bed. We didn’t stay for breakfast so cannot comment on the food.
If you’re using the train into Reading the location couldn’t have been better. Literally 2 mins walk from the station.

The room was well appointed and the bathroom was lovely and spacious. Both were clean and neat. The room had a few thoughtful extras like a bottle of water in the bar fridge, biscuits with the tea/coffee. The hand soap in the bathroom is simply indulgent and the bath/shower gel doesn’t dry your skin out. I had dinner at the downstairs bar and the Mal Burger did not disappointed. As always the staff were helpful and friendly.
